Cyanuric Acid, also known as “conditioner” or “stabilizer” is an important part of your pools water chemistry. Without it the chlorine in your pool would be burned off by the sun in less then 12 hours. CYA is crucial, but to much can be equally problematic. If too much is added it will require more and more chlorine, dulling the sparkle of your water, and helping algae to grow.

Unfortunately 4 out of 5 pools I test in Simi Valley have a cyanuric acid level 3-5 times what is required, causing many of the issues families commonly experience. That is why I am committed to using a CYA responsibly. Please reach out if you believe you may be experiencing some of these same problems.
